During the couple of weeks before Memorial Day local volunteer groups will be decorating the graves of veterans with American Flags.
They do their best to insure that each veteran receives a flag. There are times that there is an oversight.
If this does happen please be aware that the cemetery does not place the flags or maintain records of veterans interred at our cemeteries.
We have a very limited supply of flags that are provided to us by Veteran’s Services should a Veterans grave not be decorated .
Should a flag fail to be placed on a loved ones grave you need to contact Veteran’s Services at 617-635-3507.
